3 Dynamic Load Balancing Strategies
Standby Current refers to the remaining electrical capacity available for the EV charger after household appliances have used their share. It is calculated by subtracting real-time appliance usage from the home's total current limit, acting as a buffer to ensure the charger never overloads your circuit.
- Limited Charging: When the available standby current is between 8A and the set limit, the charger automatically reduces its power to match the remaining capacity.
- Full Power Charging: If standby current is sufficient, the charger operates at its maximum rated speed (32A for 7kW/22kW or 16A for 11kW) without restrictions.
- Charging Suspended: When the available standby current drops below 8A, the charger stops immediately and issues a warning to prevent a circuit overload.
Remote Control via APP
Via the app, you can control the wallbox/charging station in the easiest and most effective way. The mobile application is free and can be accessed via the App Store and Google Play, valid for Android and iOS.
